Non-Material Amendment to the Clonburris Strategic Development Zone

The Non-Material Amendment to the Clonburris Strategic Development Zone (SDZ) Planning Scheme was formally submitted to An Coimisiún Pleanála on 11th September 2025, Case Reference ZF06S.323650.

This amendment represents an important step in ensuring the Planning Scheme continues to respond to evolving development needs, infrastructure planning requirements, and national policy objectives, while remaining consistent with the overall vision for Clonburris.

The amendment maintains the overarching vision for Clonburris as a compact, sustainable, and infrastructure-led urban extension, supporting the continued delivery of housing, community facilities, and green infrastructure.

There is no fixed timeline for a response from An Coimisiún Pleanála, however, a decision is currently due by 27th January 2026. Further updates will be shared as received.
